The World Poker Tour (WPT) is a series of international poker tournaments featuring most of the world’s professional players. It was started in the United States by attorney/television producer Steven Lipscomb, who now serves as CEO of WPT Enterprises (WPTE), the firm that controlled the World Poker Tour up to November 2009. In 2008, the WPT started offering bracelets to its event champions. Players who won a title prior to the release of the bracelet, were given one retroactively.In November 2009, PartyGaming announced its acquisition of the World Poker Tour from WPTE for 300000.[1]. Whats the easiest cheapest way to qualify for the world series of poker? Preferably with flights and accomadation included

Play online on a site like Poker Stars. They have various tournaments where you can win an all expenses paid trip including entry fee. The only stipulation is that you wear something with their logo on it. They don’t force you to do that but they usually refuse to pay for your hotel if you won’t.

Most of the major sites are busy offering WSOP seats right now, but in the next few months they will be running various WPT tournaments. Quite frankly this is probably a better prize. As cool as it might be to say you played at the WSOP main event against 8,000 or so people that will likely be playing you have almost no chance in even making the money, let alone making it big. The WPT on the other hand have smaller fields making it less of a lottery.
